Team Taco is nestled in the cutest, Instagrammable, 'I walk everywhere with my adorable dog' neighborhood in Springfield. Notice that? Yep, it's dog friendly! It's a taco spot for culinary nerds, foodies, and anyone who likes eating delicious foods. Especially foods that are hugged by a tortilla, dipped in guac, or mixed together in a rice bowl. Yum. Also, do you like margaritas? Well, they've got the Beyoncé of margaritas - flawless. Let's talk tacos. The Globetrotter and the Average Joe are my favorites! But you really can't go wrong. I also frequent the B.A. Baracus and the Tofu King. Don't fret, the tofu is not a soft or a weird texture. It's a masterpiece of texture and flavor. As someone who has made a LOT of tofu and eaten it all over the world, Team Taco is doing to tofu what should be done to tofu - seasoning it, and crunching up that outside. Plus, it's topped with pickles and coleslaw. Dang it, I gotta go get a Tofu King now. But before I do, let me also suggest... a rice bowl! Especially if you're nearing hangry mode. So good! It's any choice of protein combined with rice, beans, avocado, sour cream, and topped with a rojo or verde sauce. It's a combination of all the things I dream about while I slumber. The vibe is 100% adorably charming. All seating is outside so yeah, bring that well behaved cute doggo of yours! The staff is great. The tacos are great. The vibe is great. The margaritas are essentially Beyoncé. What's not to love??

For a restaurant that officially opened only three days ago, Team Taco is operating like one that has been open for years. Currently, they can only hold 15 people, so don't be surprised if there is a bit of a wait to enter. Once you order, the food comes out fast (and very fresh)...they keep things moving quickly. You have the option to eat at one of the bar stools inside, in their garden area, or take your food to go. I brought a team of co-workers who were in town from across the country. We sampled all of the tacos, guacamole and queso. Everyone was incredibly pleased with the food, service and building aesthetics and are already planning another trip back (hopefully after work hours so we can incorporate cocktails!).

I’ve been frequenting Team Taco since they opened, and I’ve yet to be disappointed. The food is phenomenal, the Groundskeeper rice bowl with chips and queso is TOO good! The folks working there are fabulous and enthusiastic, and the dining area is super cute.

GROUNDSKEEPER & TOFU KING! The only two we ever get. They are delicious! Chips and guac are awesome! The guys here are always friendly and fast. Only outdoor seating. Clean restrooms avail too.

A must. Absolute must! The ringer taco is always something great. And the super secret hot sauce changes too so you’re always in for a treat. Customer service is top notch here. Food is fast and tasty as all hell. To be honest i wish i could pick this place up and take it with me back to Milwaukee. My go to when I’m in springfield!

Delicious tacos! Their tofu king tacos and chips and guac can’t be beat, absolutely delicious, our favorite going out to eat spot!

This place is fantastic! It's a small building. There is little room to sit inside. They have an outside area but its not cover. You won't sit outside when it's raining or cold. Still their food was fantastically delicious! I they have a chick, pork, brisket, ground beef, and veggie taco. All with clever names but taste amazing. You can get them as a rice bowl or nachos. Menu is very simple. That's all you need! I had a chicken, pork, brisket taco, and chips and queso. All were tasty and it was enough to fill me up! Totally going again! Worth the trip!

Food is always really good and the people who work the window are always so nice. This place has my favorite margarita (it’s soooo good but be careful because it’s strong!) I usually get the pork belly taco but will mix it up and get their special taco depending on what it is. The surrounding neighborhood is really cute and nice to walk though after a meal.
